Girl, 13, sexually assaulted in friend's home

ABERDEEN, Md. - Police arrested a man they say sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl while she was staying at her friend's home in Aberdeen.
Gerald Joseph Hazelwood, 29, of the 300-block of North Philadelphia Boulevard is charged with second-degree rape, second and third-degree sex offense, and second-degree assault.
The girl's mother called police and said her daughter was sexually assaulted while staying at a friend's home on January 26.
Hazelwood is currently being held at the Harford County Detention Center.
