ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WMAR) - Two women in Howard County found that they were being videotaped inside their home.
Police in Howard County say the suspect placed a video camera inside a condominium shared by the two roommates at 8300 block of Montgomery Run Road in Ellicott City.
After an investigation and review of the tape, it is known that the camera was first set up in June to record one of the victims in their bedroom. It is unknown how the man gained access to the residence.
According to police, the man reentered the condo several times to move the camera. He also recorded the other victim in her bedroom and bathroom.
The women did not discover the video camera until last month, when they called police.
Detectives say the suspect is described as a white male in his 30’s, heavy build, bald on top with very short or shaved brown hair around the sides and back of his head.
He was seen multiple times wearing the same clothes in the video. Detectives believe that could indicate a possible uniform.
Police have already started an investigation on contractors in the area.
Once the suspect is identified, he will face multiple breaking and entering charges. He will also face charges for videotaping a person in a private place without consent.
