Frederick police searching for lewd behavior suspect

FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick Police Department responded to West Frederick Middle School when they contacted a 12 year old female student. The female student told officers that while walking to school this morning, she was confronted by a white male driving a vehicle in the area Burck St. and W. South St.

The female student also told police the male pulled up to her and made several lewd gestures and made several sexual comments to her. She also advised the vehicle pulled away, but returned a moments later and re-engaged her in conversation. She continued to ignore him, and the man drove out of the area. At no time did the male attempt to assault or grab the student. He also did not entice her to get into the vehicle.

The vehicle was described as a burgundy, four-door passenger car with silver/chrome trim with brown interior. The male subject was described as a white male, blond hair and full beard and mustache. She estimated he was approximately 30-40 years of age. He was reportedly wearing a dress shirt and tie.
