SALSIBURY, Md. (AP) -

Prosecutors say charges have been dropped against a Pennsylvania woman charged in the motor vehicle death of her daughter.

Thirty-eight-year-old Tabitha Dobrzynski of New Kensington, Pa., had been charged with negligent manslaughter by motor vehicle, driving while impaired and other offenses in the Aug. 5 death of her 11-year-old daughter, Sophia.

Wicomico County State's Attorney Matt Maciarello tells The Daily News of Salisbury that the case was dismissed because the state police crime lab did not find levels of two drugs high enough to meet a threshold when testing.

Maciarello says Dobrzynski's blood will be analyzed for other compounds that the crime lab does not test for because it doesn't have the capability.
