OCEAN CITY, Md. (WMAR) - The Ocean City Police Department is asking for your help in finding the person responsible for recent attempted sexual assaults that have occurred.

The attacks happened in poorly lit, semi-secluded areas near bar establishments. The most recent occurred on July 28 during the early morning hours.

In each case, a female victim was under the influence of alcohol, alone and walking home when an unknown male initiated a conversation with the victim. After starting a conversation, the male suspect then forces the victim to the ground and attempts to sexually assault them.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5'10", 170 pounds and in his mid-20's to early 30's.

Police are asking anyone with information about similar incidents, and the suspect involved to please call Detective Simpson at 410-520-5349.
