OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) -

Ocean City police say a weeks-long undercover drug investigation has led to the arrest of 26 people on distribution charges.

Police said Tuesday that there has been an "overwhelming" increase in heroin abuse in the resort this year.

Police said the arrests were made late last month; six suspects remain at large.

Officers say the investigation also led to the seizure of 110 bags of heroin, five bags of cocaine and five replica handguns.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of the six fugitives listed above, please contact the OCPD at 410-723-6610 or your local law enforcement agency.
