CHESTERTOWN, Md. (WMAR) -

Police have charged Raymond Cullison of Chestertown with first and second degree murder for the November 21 death of Larry Steward Gears.

Gears was found dead by his wife in the front yard of their home at about 9:00 a.m. as she returned from work.

The investigation revealed that Gears and Cullison reportedly had been involved in an on-going neighborhood conflict. Cullison was taken into police custody this morning without incident.
