STEVENSVILLE, Md. - A post on Facebook announcing a trip to pick up a friend at the airport led to a robbery in Stevensville last week.

According to Queen Anne’s County police, on April 2 Danielle Dukovich’s roommate posted on Facebook that he was heading to BWI to pick her up. When they returned home, the garage door was kicked in and several items were missing or damaged including a laptop and two computer towers.

Police discovered that only Dukovich’s property was stolen or destroyed.

The next day police were called to the residence again and Dukovich reported that her soon-to-be ex-husband had come to the house and thrown her clothes and mail on the floor; he had also given one of the stolen computer towers to her sister.

As a result, Jason A. Beavers was charged on two warrants for burglary, theft and harassment. He was arrested on April 5 and placed on a $15,000 bond which was posted by a family member. He was also served a protection order to stay away from Dukovich.
