Losing a loved one is tragedy. But imagine that loved one is murdered in a violent way or disappears without a trace? And, what if you never find out who killed your loved one or what happened to them?
Hundreds of Maryland families face the realities of this kind of tragedy every day. They wake up every morning without knowing what happened to their mother or father, husband or wife, sister or brother, friend or relative.
ABC 2 is the station that works for you. We are committed to your community and uncovering the stories behind the crimes that tear them apart.
In April 2011, we are relaunching our series of profiling Maryland’s Cold Cases. During the month of April, tune in every Tuesday as we tell the story behind one of these cases. If you can’t watch at 11, we will re-air the stories the next morning during Good Morning Maryland at 6 a.m. and again at 6 p.m.
We’ve also created this website to provide you will unlimited access to the information we gather on all the cold cases we profile.
The goal of this project is to help detectives get these cases solved. We will not be able to help solve every case, but, even if we help get detectives closer to solving one, we’ll consider this project a success.
Thanks for watching and, remember, if you think you have information about any of the cold cases profiled in this series, we urge you to contact Metro Crime Stoppers.
