ELKTON, Md. - A trial date has been set for one of the doctors charged with murder for providing late-term abortions in Cecil County.

55-year-old Dr. Steven Chase Brigham's trial is scheduled to begin June 6th in the Cecil County District Court in Elkton, and continue through the 15th.

Dr. Brigham and another doctor, Nicola Riley, were both indicted under a Maryland law that allows murder charges to be applied in cases where a viable fetus was killed.

Riley was in court last week in Maryland after being extradited from Utah.
