FINKSBURG, Md. (WMAR) -
Police in Carroll County have arrested a Finksburg man who they believe stole guns, laptops and jewelry from a home.
Deputies responded to the 3000 block of Murray Road in reference to a residential burglary on March 31.
It was determined that the suspect, later identified as Gary Eugene Rucker, had entered the residence through an unlocked door and took assorted jewelry, a laptop computer and two firearms from a home.
Deputies obtained a search and seizure warrant for a residence in the same block as the burglary, where Rucker was located. Found in the home were items that were taken in the March 31 burglary and other possible burglaries.
Rucker was arrested and charged with one count of first degree burglary and two counts of theft.
