Man charged after shooting girlfriend

WOODBINE, Md. (WMAR) - A 21-year-old is in critical condition Sunday after being shot by her boyfriend at home.
Maryland State Police say they have arrested and charged 26-year-old William R. Brueckmann of the 6800 block of John Pickett Road in Woodbine.
A police investigation has revealed that Bruechmann and 21-year-old Brittany A. Warfield lived together at the home.
The shooting was fueled by an "apparent argument", according to police.
State police investigators have recovered a gun from the home and plan on sending it into the lab for testing.
Bruechmann faces several charges, including attempted first degree murder.
