ELDERSBURG - The explosive detection canine unit with the Carroll County Sheriff's Office responded to Liberty High School Tuesday in response to a bomb threat written on a school wall.
Officials say the call came at about 9:30 a.m. Responding officers say the school was immediately evacuated, and a thorough search of the school was conducted by canine units with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police.
At approximately 10:53 a.m., the building was reopened to students and staff.
