11 cars vandalized overnight Sunday

WESTMINSTER, Md. (WMAR) -  

Westminster City Police need your help to identify the people responsible for a string of vehicle vandalisms. 
 
The vandalism happened during the overnight hours of Sunday, October 21. The first series of cases occurred along South Alley in the area of Westminster Avenue where a total of 8 cars were vandalized, each sustaining one flat tire. 
 
Evidence at the scene indicated that the tires and been cut with a sharp object.
 
The second series of cases occurred on several side streets in the area of Uniontown Road and Windsor Road in the western portion of the City. 
 
A total of 3 cars were damaged when someone scratched the paint on the driver's side of the vehicles which were parked along the roadway overnight. The damage estimates in these three cases are at more than $3,000.  
 
A $250 cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for these acts. 
 
Those living in these areas are asked to remain vigilant to report all suspicious activity to the police.
