BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Officials with the Baltimore County Police Department have announced the grandson of an elderly couple found murdered in their Pikesville home has been found in Oklahoma. They say he is also a suspect in the murders.
On September 11, homicide detectives received information from police in Oklahoma that Matthew Long, the grandson of murder victims Vaughn and Marjorie Pepper, had been transported to a local hospital. Detectives have traveled to Oklahoma, but Matthew Long has yet to be interviewed due to his medical condition.

The bodies of Vaughn and Marjorie Pepper were found after a neighbor called police in response to getting a call from an out-of-state relative of the couple. The caller told the neighbor the couple hadn't been heard from for an extended period of time.
Police recovered a weapon at the scene but are not identifying it at this time. They have ruled out that the deaths were a result of a shooting.
The Peppers were laid to rest on Friday. Their grandson was entered into the national missing persons database on Monday.
