The boy who police were serving a warrant to when Ofc. Jason Schneider was shot and killed turned himself in "a short time ago,"according to the official Baltimore County Public Safety Twitter account .
The suspect, a 16-year-old boy, was wanted for the a shooting from Aug. 19.
Police say his name will be released following a bail hearing.

A man was shot and killed while behind the wheel of his car in the Lochearn area, a Baltimore County Police Department spokesman said.
