CATONSVILLE, Md. - A 16-year-old boy was shot Wednesday night in Catonsville, Baltimore County police report.
Police said officers responded to an area hospital at 11:54 p.m. following a report that someone had been shot. The victim told police he was standing in the 5900 Block of Robindale Road when he was shot once in the arm. His injuries are believed to be non life-threatening.
This incident represents the third shooting in the Catonsville area since Saturday. On Monday night, a man was shot in the neck after getting into a fight with another man, police said. This victim was found in the 100 block of Winters Lane, although the shooting was reported in the unit block of Shipley Avenue.
Then on Saturday, police investigated a double shooting that happened on the 5300 block of Edmonson Avenue . In this case, officers responded to the area at 1:01 a.m. to find two men shot at least once. Investigators say the incident happened on the sidewalk in front of the Shell gas station on the block as the two men were approached and shot by a suspect.
