TOWSON, Md. (WMAR) -  

The officer involved in a shooting at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center has been identified. 
 
Baltimore County Officer Rosa Park was involved in a struggle with an inmate during a December 5 incident at the hospital, did not fire her weapon, a police investigation shows. 
 
The investigation shows that the gun was fired by the inmate, Brian Dargan, who has been charged with attempted first degree murder and is being held without bail. 
 
Officer park has served on the Baltimore County Police force for three years.
