PIKESVILLE, Md. - It is safe to say the mugshot will not be added to the family album. Baltimore County police say Jacqueline Smith,33, stabbed her son in the leg.
The screaming woke up neighbor Nadar Mohammad.

"They were arguing and people kept saying don't do it, don't do it," said Mohammad.
The police report claims Smith told police she wanted her 15-year-old son out of her apartment, that he was disrespectful and wouldn't listen to her, and she shouted "That's right I stabbed him.”
"He reported that there was an argument between his mother and himself, but beyond that the cause of this incident remains under investigation," said Det. Cathy Batton, Baltimore County police spokesman.
Mohammad said the arguing is not uncommon. "It's normal. Yea, it's normal," he said.
This morning, he woke up around 4:30. Police were at the St. Charles at Olde Court Apartments in Pikesville about 30 minutes later.
"He was a cool kid. I didn't have no problems with him. He hung around the neighborhood, and was up and down the pool with us," said Mohammad.
Police say the victim will survive his injuries. He was taken to the hospital in good condition.
But the Department of Social Services has started an investigation. A spokesperson says: "Our first concern is an immediate, safe place that is familiar to the child. Background checks are included in the ongoing investigation."
At the time of the stabbing, there was an adult and two other kids in the apartment. The report says Smith resisted arrest so they had to use pepper spray.
No one answered the apartment door, and no neighbors seem surprised Jacqueline Smith is behind bars.
"I'd hold the door for her every now and then but she wouldn't say thank you, she wouldn't look me in the eye, she would just keep walking and stuff," said Mohammad.
Smith is being held on a $150,000 bail. She has been charged with First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, First Degree Child Abuse, Second Degree Child Abuse, and Resisting Arrest.
