ARBUTUS, Md. - Police are searching for a man they say stole credit cards from a woman's car in Arbutus and then used them at three separate gas stations the same day.
Police have sent out surveillance images of the man and his van in the hopes someone will recognize him and call them immediately.
On January 9 officers were called to a home in the unit-block of Le Grand Court. A woman told police someone broke into her Chevy Tahoe overnight and stole credit cards from her wallet.
Police later discovered her stolen cards were used that same day at three area gas stations: the Gulf Fuel on Frederick Road, the Royal Farm store on Washington Avenue, and the Royal Farm Store on Russell Street.
Police are asking anyone who recognizes this man to call (410) 307-2020. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Metro Crime Stopper at 1-866-7-LOCKUP. Tips can also be texted to "CRIMES" or submitted online through metrocrimestoppers.org.
