WOODLAWN, Md. - Police are investigating a shooting in a Baltimore County school parking lot that left a man in critical condition Friday night.
Police said the shooting happened around 8:00 pm in the parking lot of Powhattan Elementary School in the 3300 block of Kelox Road in Woodlawn.
A preliminary investigation found that two men were sitting in a car on the parking lot when an unknown suspect approached the car and fired into the vehicle.
Police said the victims drove away into Baltimore City and looked for help.
Baltimore County Police were notified by Baltimore City Police after determining that the incident occurred in the county. Only one of the victims was struck by the gunfire and he was taken to Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
