Man shot during Towson home invasion

TOWSON, Md. - A man was shot when he walked in on a burglar in a Towson home Sunday morning, police said.

Police said around 1:30 Sunday morning a man returned to his house in the 500 block of Allegheny Avenue and surprised a burglar. The burglar shot the man and fled the scene. 
 
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. 
 
The suspect was found and arrested later Sunday morning on Bosley Avenue near the Baltimore County court house. 
 
There is no indication at this point that the victim was targeted, and there is no known relationship between the victim and the suspect. 
 
Police continue to investigate the case and gather evidence.
