Man gets 50 years for 2010 murder

TOWSON, Md. (WMAR) - A man guilty in murder has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for the death of Leslie Rasmussen on June 9, 2010.

Robert Buck pled guilty on January 9, 2012 to first degree murder. Baltimore County Police found Rasmussen in her home in the 7100 block of Holabird Avenue, after calls for a possible cardiac arrest.

The Medical Examiner found the manner of death was blunt force trauma and asphyxiation.

The investigation eventually led to Buck's confession of the crime.
