TOWSON, Md. (WMAR) - A Baltimore County jury convicted Antoine Reed, Jr. today for the death of Milton Barnes.
Reed was convicted of first degree murder and unlawful use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence.
Barnes was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head on June 19, 2008 at the management office of the Hunter's Crossing Apartments at 6307 Monika Place in Woodlawn.
Barnes was the complex manager and had been having difficulties with an employee. Reed was the boyfriend of that employee.
On that morning Reed confronted Barnes and shot him. Barnes died on June 24, 2008 from his injuries.
A sentencing date has not yet been set.
