BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WMAR) - A man wanted for attacking his friend's husband with a sword turned himself in Wednesday, Baltimore County Police say.
David Bryant was served a warrant for his arrest last week on Friday.
According to a police report, Bryant had been helping to pay rent for the victim's wife, who is identified as a friend, when they got into an argument over the phone.
The victim's wife was at the mall during this phone conversation, the police report stated.
The report adds that Bryant showed up at the couple's home in the 200 block of Linden Avenue and got into a physical confrontation with the victim.
During the confrontation, the report says Bryant grabbed a sword that was on the display in the home and used it.
The victim then ran to meet his wife at the mall, where they called police. Police say the victim was treated for his injuries at University of Maryland St. Joseph's Medical Center.
Bryant faces first degree assault, first degree burglary, and related charges after turning himself in at the Essex Police Station..
He is currently being held at Baltimore County Detention Center on $150,000 bail.
