ESSEX, Md. (WMAR) - Baltimore County Police have arrested a 27-year-old after they say he growled at officers during a robbery at the library.

Police say Christopher Michael Connelly broke into the Essex Library by shattering a glass door. Police say he was wearing black pants, a black camouflage jacket and a clown mask.

Once inside the library, Connelly reportedly stole $14.50 in coin change.

When officers arrived Connelly was sitting in the Children's Corner of the library.

As police attempted to arrest Connelly, he became uncooperative and officers say they were forced to use a taser gun to subdue him.

Connelly was arrested and taken into police custody.
