HALETHORPE, Md. - A man is dead after a shooting in Halethorpe Friday night.
Police were called to the 3800 block of McDowell Lane around 11:46 p.m. for a report of shooting. When officers arrived they found a man who had been shot. He was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he later died. Homicide detectives are investigating.
In an unrelated incident, police said a man was stabbed several times just before 2 a.m. in Dundalk. He was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The Violent Crimes Unit is investigating.
