BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Baltimore County Police are investigating two deadly stabbings that occurred in bars in different parts of town.

The first incident happened at TeeBee's Bar and Lounge in Parkville. Police said officers were called to 7122 Darlington Drive just before 1:40 a.m. for a report of a fight.

When officers arrived they found a man who had been stabbed several times. The man was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital where he died of his injuries.

The bar has become a hotspot for violent crime. On July 9, a man was found shot to death in the parking lot. Police have not identified a suspect in the shooting.

A little more than an hour later, another man was stabbed at another bar—this time in Essex.

Police said they were called to  Sinix Bar in the 500 block of Eastern Boulevard for a stabbing. Officers arrived at the bar and found a man suffering from a stab wound.

The victim is being identified as 25-year-old Darryl Wilson Lovellette Jr.

Lovellette was taken to Bayview Hospital where he later died.

Baltimore County Police arrested a male suspect, 21, at the scene with a weapon.

Further investigation revealed that Lovellette and the suspect knew each other.

The suspect has not been charged and his name has not been released.
