CATONSVILLE, Md. - The 16-year-old Catonsville teen that Baltimore County police were searching for Wednesday when Officer Jason Schneider was shot and killed has been identified.
Rasheed Stanford, 16, of the unit block of Roberts Avenue, surrendered at the Public Safety Building Thursday evening. He was wanted in connection with a shooting on August 19.
The defendant has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and use of a firearm in a felony crime. He is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

A man was shot and killed while behind the wheel of his car in the Lochearn area, a Baltimore County Police Department spokesman said.
