BALTIMORE - Police are investigating the death of a 13-year-old girl who was found dead in an alley by children who were playing outside Sunday evening.
Monae Turnage was found behind a home in the 1600-block of Cliftview Avenue in East Baltimore at around 6 p.m. Her body was underneath some trash bags.
Police say Turnage's body had obvious signs of trauma, but they are not saying how she died.
Family members called police to report her missing at about 1 a.m. on Sunday. She said she was going skating, but never returned home.
