Baltimore County police are turning to the public for help finding a missing convicted sex offender , according to a release.
A warrant has been issued for Christopher Hilliard, 33, of the 1500 block of Charlotte Avenue in Baltimore, for failing to register as a sex offender as of Oct. 8.
Hilliard was last seen by a family member on July 26, although he wasn’t reported missing until Sept. 17.
He is a resident of Baltimore City, however he was reported missing in Baltimore County.
“Detectives have been unable to locate him, and are asking for the public's help,” the release states. “Christopher Hilliard is a white male, 33 years old, 5'7" tall, 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tear drop tattoo by his left eye.”
"Of course it concerns me. I have three children of my own - 9, 5 and 3. And that should concern anybody, and that's why I'm glad things like this are able to be done so people know," said Steve Meehan, a neighbor.
