BEL AIR, Md. - ABC2 News reported Tuesday night about some local private schools on alert as investigators try to find the person who targeted several students , and engaged in sexually explicit video chats with them.
Now local schools and police report there may be additional victims, including at John Carroll in Harford County.
The Bel Air private school held an assembly Tuesday to talk about the incident after two students at the St. Paul's School for Girls came forward about the chats. And after the assembly, four students admitted they had been contacted by the same person online.
Letters were also sent out to parents at other schools including Bryn Mawr and Boys’ Latin alerting them about what happened. Baltimore County police are still working to track down the person behind the sexually explicit messages.
