BALTIMORE - Baltimore City police are investigating two shootings which led to one homicide Monday night.
Police said officers responded at 10:17 p.m. to the 600 block of Denison Street in reference to a shooting. At the scene, officers found an unidentified man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
About an hour before that, officers responded to the intersection of Christian and Pulaski streets for a reported shooting. Police there found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper back. She was transported to an area hospital and is listed in stable condition, police said.
Police said their preliminary investigation found the victim and a friend were walking southbound in the 400 block of Pulaski Street when they heard a “bang” and the victim realized she was shot.
