BALTIMORE - Baltimore City police are investigating a pair of shootings, including one fatal, which occurred early Friday morning.
Police said officers responded at 12:40 a.m. to the 1200 block of W. North Ave. for a report of a shooting. They found a man on the sidewalk suffering from several gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead at 1:15 a.m.
Then, at 2:37 a.m., officers were called to a shooting in the 1500 block of E. Pratt Street. There, officers found a male with an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was to an area hospital.
Police are still exploring leads in both cases.
