Two charged in bus driver beating

BALTIMORE (WMAR) -  

Maryland Transit Administration Police have announce the arrests of two people who allegedly attacked and MTA bus operator last week.
 
The arrests were made on information received from the public, after photos of the suspects were provided to the media.
 
MTA Police arrested Russell Thomas and Sabreena Clemons at their Baltimore home today. They have both been charged with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, conspiracy to commit first and second degree assault and use of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure. 
 
At about 5:00 p.m. on December 6, Thomas and Clemons allegedly assaulted the bus operator while riding the 13 line in the 2900 block of North Avenue near Poplar Grove Street. 
 
The operator suffered numerous injuries as a result of the assault.
