Sixteen-year-old shot to death in N. Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. - A 16-year-old girl was shot to death Sunday night in the Northwestern District, according to Baltimore police.

The body of Ahjee Harrod, of the 2800 block of East Federal Street, was discovered on the street in the 6200 block of Fairlawn Sunday night around 10:00 p.m., according to police, who responded to a call about a shooting.

Paramedics were called to the scene to treat the teenager, who sustained a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the victim had been visiting an aunt at the time of her death.

Homicide detectives are investigating the murder. Police said they have no motive or suspects in the crime.
