Robbery victims forced to strip, shot

BALTIMORE - Two men in northwest Baltimore were forced to strip while they were robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning.

Adding insult to injury, one of the victims was shot in arm as he tried to run away, police said.

According to officials,  around 2:00am the victims left a CITGO gas station located at Northern Parkway and Reisterstown Road and were walking through an alley to the 4100 block of Newton Avenue when two men approached them. The men showed handguns, demanded money and ordered the victims to take off their clothes. One of the victims tried to run and was shot in the left bicep.

The suspects fled eastbound in the 4100 block of Newton Avenue.

The victims then went to 5507 Lynview Avenue where they called police. The man who was shot was taken to Sinai Hospital where he was treated and released.
