BALTIMORE - Baltimore City Police have concluded Saturday's search for Phylicia Barnes without finding anything.

Baltimore City Police announced their plan to search Thursday morning in a news conference.

Investigators had upwards of 300 or more law enforcement officials and volunteers involved in the search in the Patapsco Valley State Park.

The Patapsco Valley State Park extends along the Patapsco River and encompasses more than 16,000 acres, and 32 miles of the River.

With more than 170 miles of trails, and 70 of those as maintained trails, the park has hiker only and multi-use trails accessible from many areas of Patapsco.

Police searched the park months ago, but say they have new reason to believe that they may find something in the park to lead them to Barnes.

Volunteers also canvased the neighborhood where Barnes was last seen and distributing fliers in the hopes of turning up some information on her whereabouts.

Barnes went missing after visiting her sister at a home in Northwest Baltimore in December of 2010.

Police are asking anyone who may know something about the disappearance to call the Missing Person Unit at 443-984-7385 or the Northwestern Police District at 410-396-2466.

Because of the large number of people and agencies involved an inactive cell tower in the Catonsville area was activated for the day so that everyone could communicate more efficiently.
