Police investigate two deadly shootings

BALTIMORE -  

Two men died in separate shooting incidents on Saturday, police said.
 
According to police, just after 3 a.m. officers were called to the 600 block of N. Lakewood Drive for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived at the scene they found a 30-year-old man shot in the back. The man was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he died at 3:36 a.m. 
 
On Saturday afternoon, another man lost his life to violence in a home in 1200 block of Linworth Avenue. Officers were called to the Northeast Baltimore address around 2:39 p.m. for a report of a shooting. When they arrived they found a 29-year-old man dead inside of the home. He had been shot several times. 
 
Homicide detectives are investigating both deaths.
