BALTIMORE - Baltimore City Police identified the victim shot by a police officer late Friday night.
Police said officers shot Oba Mitchiner, 27, of the 2400 block of Maisel Court around 10:00 p.m. near the intersection of Maisel Street and Nevada Street.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are unclear, but the suspect was taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition. Police said charges are pending against Mitchiner.
