BALTIMORE - City police identified a young woman found shot in the head in the Harwood neighborhood on Friday.

Tashawna Jones, 18, of the 2200 block of Presstman Street was found around 7 o’clock in the 300 block of E. 26 th Street. She was taken to an area hospital in critical condition where she died just after 8:30 p.m.

Police said a black man wearing a red jacket and a white hat was seen running south on Guilford Avenue after the shooting.

Jones is one of six people shot in Baltimore City over the weekend. She is the only shooting death.

Police are investigating.
