BALTIMORE -   Baltimore City Police say they have a person of interest in a Southwest Baltimore stabbing that left a man dead Friday morning.

According to police, officers were called to the 600 block of Brisbane Avenue for a report of a stabbing at 11:00 a.m. When officers arrived they found Lindale Carrington, 33, suffering from several stab wounds to the torso. Carrington was taken to Shock Trauma where he died just before noon.

Police said a preliminary investigation found that Carrington and the suspect were involved in a fight when the suspect grabbed a sharp object and stabbed him multiple times. The suspect fled before police arrived.
