BALTIMORE -  

Patients and employees at Mercy Medical Center can breathe a sigh of relief. 

Baltimore Police arrested a man they believe is responsible for an armed robbery inside of  the downtown Baltimore hospital earlier this week.

On Friday Citywide Robbery Detectives charged 51-year-old William Johnson of the 500 blk of Yale Ave. with the armed robbery of two Mercy Medical Center employees.

Police said on Tuesday afternoon, Johnson robbed two women at gunpoint on the third floor of the hospital.

Police said hospital surveillance video was used in the investigation.
