BALTIMORE (WMAR) - Violence kept Baltimore City Police busy overnight. Three people were shot, and another person was stabbed to death.
Police say they were called to the 400 block of North Montford Avenue around 12:16 a.m. where they found a man who had been stabbed in the chest.
He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead moments later.
An investigation revealed that the victim had been in an argument with another person. Police say the argument escalated and led to the deadly stabbing.
In west Baltimore, a man was shot in the leg around 11:30 p.m. on Friday night.
The shooting happened on Bentalou Street. Police say the victim is in stable condition.
Just before 3:00 a.m. on Saturday two men were shot in the 3100 block of Oakford Avenue.
Police say the men were outside when someone walked up and shot them for an unknown reason.
Both men were taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay.
Anyone with information on the overnight shootings and/or stabbing is asked to call police.
