Police are investigating a deadly shooting in South Baltimore.
According to police, at 2:03 a.m. Monday officers were called to the 300 block of South Payson Street for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived they found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he died.
A preliminary investigation found the victim was arguing with the suspect around 1:53 a.m. before shots were fired and the suspect fled.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
