BALTIMORE - A man and a woman were hurt in two separate shootings Tuesday night, police say.
Just before 6 p.m. officers were called to the 800-block of Seagull Avenue near Patapsco Middle School in South Baltimore for reports of a shooting. As they arrived they received a call. The 30-year-oldĀ victim from the shooting was on her way to the hospital in an ambulance. She had been shot in the abdomen.
Police say they have very little information about this shooting. The woman is currently in stable condition.
A few hours later, just after 10 p.m., officers in Southwest Baltimore were called to another shooting.
A 21-year-old man was walking to his car in the unit-block of South Woodington Road when someone shot him several times in the limbs and torso. He is listed in critical condition at an area hospital. Police have not yet uncovered a motive for the shooting.
Both incidents remain under investigation.
