BALTIMORE, Md. - A 24-year-old local man was shot twice while playing basketball on an East Side court Sunday night, Baltimore police said.
According to police, the unidentified victim was playing basketball at 9:23 p.m. with his brother in the 1400 block of Caroline Street in the Oliver community when he heard gunfire. The man told police that he started to feel pain in his chest and walked to the nearby Johns Hopkins Medical Center, where he is being treated for a gunshot wound to the chest.
