BALTIMORE - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that left a man dead Saturday night.
Police say Ramon Rodriguez died at an area hospital after being shot in the head near Gough and Lehigh Street in southeast Baltimore around 8 p.m.
Police are actively seeking a suspect, who authorities say knew the victim.
Police spokesman Sgt. John Kowalczyk said in a statement the homicide is, “not believed to retaliatory or related to the recent levels of violence.”
There were three additional nonfatal shootings in the city over the weekend. A 15-year-old boy was shot in the neck in the 200 block of Robb Street around 8 p.m. Saturday. His injuries are not life threatening.
Additionally, around 9 p.m a man was shot in the lower body in the 3400 block of North Avenue.
Police say woman a woman is being treated for non-life threatenign injuries after she was shot in leg Saturday night. She walked into a hospital and it unclear at this time where the shooting occurred.
Police are investigating.
