BALTIMORE (WMAR) - A 20-year-old man is in critical condition after a he was shot at a block party in Park Heights.
Baltimore City Police were called to the 3000 block of Woodland Avenue at around 10 p.m. for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived they found a 20-year-old man suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was taken to Sinai Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
According to Police Spokesman Donny Moses, a preliminary investigation found that the victim was attending a neighborhood block party when an unknown man approached him and began a verbal argument. The argument escalated until the man shot the victim multiple times and then fled on foot.
Police have no motive or suspects in the shooting.
