Man sentenced for raw heroin, guns

BALTIMORE (WMAR) -  

A U.S. District Judge has sentenced Keith Massenburg, 45, today to 10 years in prison, after he pleaded guilty to possession with the intent to distribute heroin. 
 
According to Massenburg's plea agreement, on March 2, 2012, Police executed a search warrant at his residence in the 1600 block of North Caroline Street in Baltimore. 
 
Massenburg was in the home at the time of the search, and advised officers that he had a gun and drugs in the basement and in the second floor bedroom. 
 
Officers found a /38 caliber revolver and ammunition, drug packaging material and paraphernalia, a bag with 1.36 grams of raw heroin, a loaded .40 caliber handgun, a loaded .44 caliber handgun and $3,500 in suspected drug proceeds. 
 
At the time of the search Massenburg was on supervised released for a previous federal conviction on gun and drug charges. 
 
Massenburg was also sentenced to three years of probation after his release from prison.
